About Us
About Jacque Label
Jacque Label began with a spreadsheet and a wardrobe audit. Our founder counted 41 items hanging up and admitted she wore nine of them. The rest were fine — nothing wrong with them — they just never quite got picked. Wrong shade of beige. Sleeve that pulled when she reached for a coffee cup. A fabric that looked soft on screen and felt like paper in person. That gap between what a garment promises and how it actually behaves on a Tuesday is the whole reason this label exists.
So we buy differently. Every women's clothing piece we list has to answer three questions before it goes live: does it drape well on more than one body shape, does the fabric survive a real laundry cycle, and would you reach for it again next week? If a sample fails, it doesn't get a second chance with a nicer photo. That's why our range stays deliberately tight — a considered edit of dresses, knits, tailored separates and easy layering pieces rather than an endless scroll of near-identical listings.
We design for Australian life, which means we think about heat, humidity, air-conditioned offices and the odd unexpected downpour. Breathable weaves, colours that don't wash out under harsh sunlight, and cuts that move from a 9am desk to a Friday dinner without a costume change. Our customers are women across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and everywhere between who want to get dressed quickly and feel good about it.
How We Work and How Your Order Reaches You
Jacque Label operates a direct-from-source model. Rather than holding stock in an Australian warehouse and layering on the costs that come with it, we work hand-in-hand with a small group of vetted production and fulfilment partners, and every order is packed and dispatched from Asia. Cutting out the wholesalers, distributors and retail markups in between is precisely what allows us to sell garments of this standard at the prices you see.
Honest pricing means no theatre at checkout. The figure on the product page is the figure you pay — we don't invent handling fees, packaging surcharges or last-minute extras once your card details are in. Delivery within Australia is handled by Australia Post, and because parcels travel internationally, they take longer to arrive than a same-city courier drop. We'd rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise. You'll find the identical explanation on our homepage and in our FAQ, because the answer shouldn't change depending on where you happen to read it.
Talking to a Real Person
Our customer care team reads and answers every message personally — no ticket carousel, no scripted deflection. If a size runs small or a parcel is taking longer than expected, tell us and we'll sort it.
